The ROSNI Society started running a Rehabilitation Centre for Intellectual & Development Disabilities since 9th April’2016 with only 6 students as day scholars at a rented premises situated 416/17, Amravati Vihar, Talli Bamori, Haldwani, Distt. Nainital. Now the number has grown up to 35 students with intellectual and development disabilities. Children from low economic background are provided services free of cost. It is running with the help of donation from parents and well wishers.

Legal Structure

We are registered with Registrar of Firms, Societies & Chits, Kumaon Region, Haldwani, Distt. Nainital, Uttarakhand with registration No.202/2011-12 renewed with registration No.57/2016-17 valid till 21-03-2021. Registered with Director, Department of Social Welfare, Uttarakhand, Haldwani with registration No.54 dated 26-04-2014 valid till 25-04-2019. We are also a member of PARIVAAR- a national confederation of parents’ organization for Persons with Intellectual and Development Disabilities. We have approved under section 80 G (5) (vi) of Income Tax Act 1961 vide order No. ITBA/EXM/S/80G/2018/A/1009814356 (1) Dated 10/05/2018 for exemption of donation.
